Client question to trainer: “You say it’s the sitting for long periods or my sedentary lifestyle that is contributing to my back and hip pain…why are my other friends and colleagues not having similar issues with their body if they too sit for long periods and are sedentary?”
Dianne’s answer: all bodies are not the same. In fact, no one is like anyone else. Every movement and body use experience contributes to the way we are at this moment. Without maintenance, everyone deteriorates, some more, some less but not everyone admits to it or even notices it. As we age, maintenance becomes more important than ever as things we could do easily and without pain when younger, now become more problematic.
